It's official - GM will build the 2012 Buick Regal GS similar to the concept pictured above. They're not saying much about the car other than the fact that it now has the official green light for production. The show car had a turobcharged 2.0 liter Ecotec enigine making 255 hp and was equipped with all-wheel drive too. There is some speculation that GM will not offer all-wheel drive on the Regal GS because of weight and cost issues.
The last generation Buick Regal GS used a supercharged V6 and made 240 hp. This black Regal GS is a 2000. This time around, there's no V6 in sight for the Regal but the turbo four will make more power and get better fuel econonmy too.
