Ford has just announced that the 2011 Fiesta will earn an EPA rating of 40 MPG highway. That's better than Fiesta competitors like the Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris. Thanks to the Fiesta's PowerShift six-speed automatic transmission, the Fiesta will also get 29 MPG in the city - impressive numbers for any car and better than a few hybrids. Base price for the Fiesta is about $14,000.
