2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Review

For years, even decades the Toyota Land Cruiser has been nothing less than a an excellent off roader with room for the whole family. It was an SUV before the term was even used. Today, it's just as good but adds some luxury and a steep price tag.

There's certainly nothing wrong with the 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser. It does everything that's asked of it. The interior is roomy and comfortable and features like heated leather seats, a JBL stereo w/ USB connection, full time 4WD, skid plates and 18-inch wheels are all standard. It's a good thing because the base price without options is a hefty $65,000. The Upgrade Package includes features like XM NavTraffic, rear seat DVD player and a front center console cooler so you can keep drinks cold. That package adds another $7,000.

At this point you might just ask yourself who would spend more than $70,000 on a large V8 powered SUV that goes off-road like crazy. Ask any Land Rover owner and they'll think you got a bargin. There's nothing fancy about the Land Cruiser even though it's loaded with lots of stuff. The plain image is really the only thing lacking here. My guess is that anyone willing to trade flash for a little extra reliablility will think the 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser is just about perfect. However, if you want everyone else to know that you spent $70,000 on an SUV you're probably not even considering a Toyota of any kind - Brian Moody
