2010 Buick Regal @ LA Auto Show

From the first time the new redesigned 2010 Buick Regal made it's debute showing a couple of years ago at this same L.A. Auto Show this reporter knew that General Motors had a World-Beater in the product pipe-line.

The wait is over! Now the time has come!

The New 2010 Buick Regal will be offered with the option of one of two engines. The base is a 2.4-liter Ecotech four-cylinder putting out 182 hp that, when paired with the standard six-speed auto tranny, should achieve a claimed highway mileage of 30 miles per gallon.

Further enhancing the car's performance credit is something Buick calls IDCS, or Interactive Drive Control System. It's a computerized system offered only on turbo variants whereby the driver can select from three settings: normal (you're driving to work), tour (Grandpa is driving to a game of bridge) and sport (teenager is driving to a place to be determined).

Car Concerns Report:
Estimated 30 mpg on the highway with the 2.4L and 29 mpg highway with the 2.0L turbo engine
Standard 2.4L Ecotec direct injected engine rated at an estimated 182 horsepower (136 kW)

Put the new 2010 Buick Regal on your automotive shopping list. This beauty is bound to pick up all kinds of automotive awards this year.
